The Yates County Chamber of Commerce, along with the Community Table Dinner Committee, is on the lookout for applicants to become the beneficiary of the 2024 Community Table Dinner. Scheduled for September 7th in Penn Yan, this unique event gathers guests at a communal table on the Main Street Bridge for a farm-to-table dining experience. Highlighting the talents of local chefs, bakers, and craft beverage producers, the dinner promotes sustainability and community spirit.
To qualify, organizations must be registered 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(6) entities serving the Yates County area, and capable of providing volunteer support on the day of the event. Interested parties are encouraged to apply online or in person at the Yates County Chamber of Commerce office by the March 15th deadline. The successful organization will be publicly announced on April 1st.
This initiative not only aims to celebrate local culinary arts but also supports vital community services. The previous year’s dinner successfully raised $16,200 for the Yates Community Center.
