A man riding a scooter in Selden Tuesday night was killed in a crash with an SUV, Suffolk County police said.
The scooter and the SUV collided about 5 p.m. at Middle Country and Boyle roads, according to the police.
The crash closed Middle Country Road in both directions while police investigated.
Neither the man on the scooter nor the driver of the SUV were immediately named.
