One person died in a two-vehicle crash on the Long Island Expressway in Brentwood and all lanes were closed early Wednesday morning, according to Suffolk police and the state transportation website.
The collision, which occurred shortly after midnight at Exit 53 for the Sagtikos Parkway, also led to the arrest of one motorist on a charge of aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, police said.
