GOSHEN – Only one of the 21 members Orange County Legislature had perfect attendance in 2023 according to records from the county.
Chairwoman Katie Bonelli, a Republican, was at every meeting.
Those with 98 percent attendance records – all Republicans – included Kevin Hines, Barry Cheney, and Janet Sutherland, with GOP Majority Leader Thomas Faggione attending 97 percent of the meetings.
On the other end of the spectrum, Democrat Joel Sierra attended no meetings reportedly for health reasons. Michael Anagnostakis was at 67 percent of the meetings. He said last year’s record came after 13 years of high attendance.

- Genesis Ramos, Democrat, 86 percent
- James O’Donnell, Conservative, 85 percent
- Glenn Ehlers, Republican, 83 percent
- Laurie Tautel, Democrat, 79 percent
- Kathy Stegenga, Republican, 76 percent
- Michael Paduch, Democratic minority leader, 75 percent
- Michael Amo, Independent, 71 percent
- Kevindaryan Lujan, Democrat, 69 percent
