WURTSBORO- A tractor-trailer transporting chicken entrails overturned at the off-ramp from Route 17 at Route 209 in Wurtsboro around 1:45 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon. The truck was attempting to turn from Eastbound 17 to Southbound 209.
Route 209 was covered with chicken guts and was closed in both directions. Route 17 was not affected by the crash.
The Wurtsboro Fire Department and State Police were on the scene and it is unknown if there were any injuries. The cause of the accident is unknown and the scene is expected to take hours to clear.
