TOWN OF MONTGOMERY – A crash between a cement truck and an SUV on Route 17K at Old Route 17K in the Town of Montgomery at noon on Monday resulted in the road being closed as firefighters used high-pressure hoses to wash the cement off the road before it hardened.
The collision resulted in the SUV being tipped on its side and wedged against a guide rail. There were no reports of any injuries.
The cause remains under investigation.
