MIDDLETOWN – In what has become an annual holiday tradition, earlier this week State Senator James Skoufis (D, Cornwall) held his annual stuffed animal giveaway at the Thrall Library in Middletown. The stuffed animals were donated by PetSmart.
“Every child in every community no matter their circumstances, financially or otherwise, deserves to have a joyous holiday season and so to the extent that we can help provide a little bit of joy to every single family, in every single household, we are certainly looking to do that,” said Skoufis.
Over 200 families stopped by and a total of 500 stuffed animals were distributed.
