NEWBURGH- The City of Newburgh has announced that a section of Liberty Street has been closed to all traffic in the area between Carson Avenue and Renwick Street until further notice due to a sewer collapse and sinkhole in the street.
Emergency response crews from the City of Newburgh are working to make repairs and will reopen the roadway as soon as possible. Please avoid the use of Liberty Street in this area and obey all traffic control signs, road closure signs, traffic flaggers, and safety cones.
