POUGHKEEPSIE – City police in Poughkeepsie are investigating a shooting that occurred in the vicinity of Garden Street and Zimmer Avenue on Thursday afternoon.
First responders responded to a report of a shooting at approximately 2:10 p.m.
At least one victim was located and transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Uniformed officers and detectives were canvassing the area for evidence and witnesses.
Police are asking anyone who has information about the shooting to call the confidential TIP LINE at 845-451-7577.
