KINGSTON- The Community Foundations of the Hudson Valley, through a grant from the NoVo Foundation, is pleased to announce the availability of the 2023-2024 Kingston City School District Mini Grant funding.ย ย
This grant program is designed to distribute funds in amounts up to $5,000 per extra-curricular club in the Kingston City School District to enhance positive experiences for youth in the Kingston City School District.ย A total of $125,000 will be granted this cycle.ย
The Community Foundations piloted this grant program in the Spring of 2022, awarding $100,000 to a variety of school clubs, after-school and athletic programs.ย The grant requests spanned elementary through high school, and helped support the purchasing of sports equipment, uniforms, training, field trips, school gardens, trauma informed yoga classes, yearbooks for all, music, science, advocacy clubs and special events.ย
