POUGHKEEPSIE – City of Poughkeepsie Police responded to a report of a fight on Wednesday near the Financial Parking Deck at Main Street and Civic Center Plaza just before 3 p.m.
Responding officers gave chase to a fleeing suspect who discarded a revolver in Mural Square Park. The suspect evaded police but the firearm was secured by officers and taken to headquarters for further investigation.
Anyone who may have information regarding a suspect who is missing a handgun is asked to call 845-451-7577.
