Dutchess County Clerk to host passport day

POUGHKEEPSIE- Dutchess County Clerk Brad Kendall will be hosting a passport day on Saturday, September 30 for residents interested in applying for or replacing a passport.ย  The event will run from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. and will be held at the clerkโ€™s office at 22 Market Street in Poughkeepsie.

Federal law requires passport documents for international travel.ย  Passport documents require time to process, so residents are encouraged to apply for their passport well in advance of their anticipated travel date.

The fee for first-time adult applicants is $130, and passports for children cost $100.ย  There is also a processing fee of $35 per applicationย  and a $10 photograph charge.
