ESOPUS- On February 9, 2024, Ellenville’s Varsity Boys Basketball defeated Mount Academy by a final score of 86 to 63.

Mount Academy:

• Jake Maendel:  25 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals
• Dennis Hofer:  18 points, 3 steals
• Bruce Maendel:  7 points, 3 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 steals
• Kai Meier:  8 points, 5 rebounds,
• Donovan Baird:  5 points, 4 assists, 3 steals

Ellenville:

• Mathew Van Matre:  18 points
• KJ Jackson:  17 points
• Jason Kinsey:  16 points
• Alen Ibric:  13 points

• Mount Academy:  12-3
• Ellenville:  12-1

Despite their Friday evening loss, class D Mount Academy has scored more points on 6^th-ranked class B Ellenville than any other opponent this season, other than class AAA Monroe-Woodbury.
