ALBANY – Governor Kathy Hochul has announced the allocation of emergency assistance funds to eligible homeowners impacted by the July flooding and recent storm damage in Dutchess, Putnam Rockland and Westchester counties.
Areas of eastern Orange County – West Point, Highland Falls, and Cornwall, also decimated by the flooding have already been promised state funding for eligible homeowners.
Grants of up to $50,000 will be awarded based on a scope of work approved by the local program administrators. Applicants must be homeowners whose primary residence is in one of the designated counties and who have incomes at or below 80 percent of the Area Median Income.
