WASHINGTON D.C.- In a party-line vote of 221 to 212, House Republicans Wednesday passed a resolution to launch a formal impeachment inquiry into the alleged foreign business dealings of the family of President Joe Biden.ย The resolution formalizes months-long inquiries being led by Republicans on three separate House committees that the White House has said were not legitimate because it was not voted on by the House.

โHouse Republicans are not joining me.ย Instead of doing anything to help make Americansโ lives better, they are focused on attacking me with lies,โ said Biden.
Congressman Mike Lawler (R, NY-17) disagrees and believes the inquiry is warranted.
โFor the past 11 months, the House Oversight, Judiciary, and Ways and Means Committees have been conducting multiple investigations into the financial dealings of the Biden Family.ย These committees have uncovered foreign transactions totaling over $24 million passing through at least 20 shell companies to the Biden family โ including payments to Joe Biden โ and its business associates from Chinese, Russian, Romanian, and Ukrainian…
