ALBANY – Two hundred more childcare slots are available for SUNY college campuses due to $1.7 million in additional funding for improvements.
In the Hudson Valley, funds have been awarded to community colleges in Dutchess, Ulster and Westchester counties.
During the 2022-2023 academic year, SUNY offered some 4,500 childcare slots across its 46 campuses that have a childcare center onsite.
The facilities serve childcare needs for students, faculty and staff as well as local community members.
