POUGHKEEPSIE – The Mid-Hudson Bridge has been closed to traffic for an emergency situation Monday afternoon, according to city police. The closure began around 4:30 pm.
Police are currently negotiating with an individual on the span that is contemplating suicide. The bridge will remain closed during the course of the incident.
No additional details have been released.
