MONTICELLO- Twelve youngsters competed in the Monticello Elks Lodge Hoop Shoot on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at the Rutherford School. For the past 51 years, the Elks Hoop Shoot has been a nationwide free throw program for youth ages 8 to 13. The winners go on to compete in the East Central District Shoot, which includes winners from ten Elks lodges. The National Finals are in Chicago in April.
