MONTICELLO – A Monticello man who allegedly burglarized a local business and stole $2,000, has been arrested and released on an appearance ticket as per state bail reform laws.
Monticello Police arrested Paul Ellis, 37, on charges of felony burglary and grand larceny and a misdemeanor for possession of stolen property.
It is alleged that minutes before 1 a.m. on Wednesday, November 29, he broke into Synergy of Monticello at 2 High Street and stole cash.
When he was arrested in the afternoon, police recovered $100 of the stolen money.
