TOWN OF ESOPUS – A 48-year-old Port Ewen man was found dead the day after he went riding on his ATV, authorities said.
State Police and an Environmental Conservation forest ranger searched the wilderness in the Town of Esopus and found the man dead in a stream under his ATV.
Rangers and a State Police dive team removed the man from the water and turned him over to a coroner.
Authorities did not release the name of the victim of the incident on September 26.
