POUGHKEEPSIE – The city opened Spratt Park Pool on Friday with extended hours being offered this year, as construction begins on a new Pool House at the Pulaski Park Pool. In addition to the pool at Spratt Park, the Poughkeepsie Middle School will welcome swimmers as soon as a mechanical issue is addressed.
According to city officials, an update on the middle school pool will be provided next week.
Spratt Pool will be open every day from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. The first two hours will be for lap swimming for adults and competitive level swimmers, with open, recreational swimming available from 11 a.m. until close.
