Ryan launches mobile office to bring services directly to his constituents

MIDDLETOWN – Congressman Pat Ryan (D, NY-18) formally took the wraps off his mobile constituent van – the Constituent Advocacy Resources Empowerment Services (CARES) van while in Middletown on Thursday.

He said his primary goal is to bring government services and aid directly to his constituents.

“Not only make sure that veterans can get access for the benefits and their family members, so that seniors can get their Social Security questions answered, to get the support they need from Medicare, to get food assistance for families across the community, to make sure people have their passports for their honeymoons – one of our most popular forms of constituent services – make sure our farm owners have the ability for their farm workers to get their visas,” he said.

Middletown Mayor Joseph DeStefano called the van services “a game changer for families in Middletown and the Hudson Valley.”
