Search continues for man wanted for killing his daughter-in-law

HAVERSTRAW – It has been 11 years since Tammy Palmer was murdered and police believe it was at the hands of her father-in-law, Eugene Palmer.

He is believed to have fled into Harriman State Park and has not been heard from since.

Palmer, who is 84, is known to be interested in auto racing and is a car enthusiast, and is also an experienced hunter and outdoorsman, police said.

Anyone with information concerning Eugene Palmer’s whereabouts is asked to call Town of Haverstraw Police at 845-354-1500 or the local FBI field office.
