MOUNTAINVILLE- The Orange County Land Trust (OCLT) recently held its 2023 Benefit Reception & Auction on June 15th in which they celebrated their 30th anniversary as an organization. The evening’s honorees included Walden Savings Bank and the Lenape Center.
The sold-out crowd of over 300 guests also enjoyed a screening of the short film, “Sugar Loaf Mountain- A Community Initiative.” The video was filmed and produced by Marc Mason and Robert Campbell, two film industry veterans whom donated their services in support of the land protection project. The film includes commentary from OCLT staff and several stakeholders, including: County Executive Steve
Neuhaus, Walden Savings Bank President and CEO Derrik Wynkoop, and others.
Currently, OCLT is in the final stages of the project’s due diligence and is aiming to complete the acquisition within the year.
