NEWBURGH – Fire at 583 South Street in the City of Newburgh early Sunday morning displaced six residents. The Red Cross was notified to provide assistance for the victims.
There were no reports of injuries in the two-alarm blaze for which the cause was undetermined.
West Point and Stewart Air National Guard firefighters responded to the scene.
Mobile Life Support Services advanced life support was at the scene and Newburgh Police blocked off the area.
