Ulster BOE opens online voting for “I Voted” sticker design contest

KINGSTON- The Ulster County Board of Elections is thrilled to announce the launch of online voting for its highly anticipated 3rd annual “I Voted” sticker design contest.  Building on the tremendous success of last year’s contest, which gained viral attention with the remarkable design by Hudson Rowan, this year’s competition promises to captivate the community once again.

The “I Voted” sticker design contest invites talented students from various Ulster County schools to showcase their artistic skills and contribute to the celebration of civic engagement.  This year, five outstanding students have submitted their unique designs, each reflecting their creativity and vision.

To ensure broad community participation and engagement, the Ulster County Board of Elections has launched an innovative online voting platform accessible through the official website, voteulster.com.  The platform allows individuals to cast their votes for their favorite sticker design, making their voices heard and playing an active role in the selection process.

Open voting has already begun and will continue until July 31, 2023.  The winning design will be chosen based on popular vote.  The design that emerges victorious will be transformed into the highly coveted “I Voted” stickers, which will be prominently distributed at all early voting locations and poll sites during the upcoming 2023 General Election, scheduled for this fall.
