Arbiter says Ogdensburg owes firefighters $500,000 in overtime

Ogdensburg will pay more than a half-million dollars in overtime to firefighters who were denied overtime, according to an arbitration ruling. The $519,680.68 award stems from more than 10,510 hours denied under the union’s six-year contract that began Jan. 1, 2020 and continues to Dec. 31, 2025.
