CFCtoo members urge lawmakers to report abuse

CFCtoo members recently visited Albany urging lawmakers to support the Child Abuse Reporting Expansion Act, which would make clergy mandated reporters. The renewed call for mandated clergy reporting of sexual and other abuse of children comes after a former CFC congregation member was recently sentenced for a sex abuse charge that wasn’t reported to authorities for six years.
