POTSDAM — A free, end of the school year summer bash brought hundreds of children and families to Garner Park Friday afternoon, June 23.

North Country Children’s Museum hosted the first annual summer bash with games directed by museum staff and free ice cream donated by Stewart’s Shop

Museum Director Sharon Williams said the community outreach event is now the second yearly community event sponsored by the museum, adding to their Frosty Fest held the past several years in the winter.

Williams said this new community event will be even bigger next year.
