Juneteenth Celebration Saturday in Potsdam

Black is Beautiful Fashion Show participants take an ovation at last year’s Juneteenth Celebration in Ives Park. This year’s celebration will be Saturday, June 17 from 4 to 8 p.m. in the park. The celebration will feature music, dancing, a free heritage-rich catered meal, and brief presentations on the relevance of Juneteenth in American history. All are welcome to join in this free cultural celebration, with activities for children, a Black Is Beautiful Fashion Show, drumming, speakers and more. Read more here. Photo submitted.
