New Potsdam officer sworn in by outgoing mayor

Family members and officers were present in the Village of Potsdam meeting room Thursday, Aug. 3 to witness the swearing in of Police Officer Recruit Robert Beaudin by Mayor Ron Tischler, pictured in the top photo. This event was of particular significance as it is likely the last Potsdam Police Officer who will be sworn in by Mayor Tischler who is retiring from politics this year.
