OGDENSBURG — An Easter Egg Hunt drew over 1,100 participants at Lockwood Arena, Saturday, April 1, hosted by Seaway Valley Prevention Council, Community Health Center and Greater Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce.
The event had 19 organizations attend the event: Ogdensburg Dance Center, Peer Support Services, Horizons Youth Clubhouse, The Valley Recovery Center, Advancing Tobacco Free Communities, Pepsi-Cola Ogdensburg Bottlers, Ogdensburg History Museum, Northern Regional Center for Independent Living, Rick Engle for Sheriff, Christy Lust, Ogdensburg AT&T (3rd Place Winner), SeaComm, Community Health Center of the North Country, St. Lawrence County WIC, Sean O’Brien for Sheriff, Citizen Advocates (1st Place Winner), America 1 Realty, United Helpers (2nd Place Winner), and Youth Advocate Program.
Ten businesses donated gift certificates for the prize Easter baskets: Walmart, Big Spoon, Ogdensburg Bowl, Cam’s Pizzeria, Busters, Bayside, Hosmer’s, The Place, Freight House, and Northern Communication Systems.
