MADRID — The St. Lawrence Power & Equipment Museum will host the Old Fashioned Harvest Days Sept. 2 and 3.
The museum, located at 1755 NYS Hwy. 345, preserves and teaches the history of how North Country of New York people lived and how earlier technologies and events helped shape their lives.
History comes alive through demonstrations, interpretive displays, living history, and collections among historical and exhibit buildings.
The Old Fashioned Harvest Days event keeps to this mission, providing demonstrations on blacksmithing, corn harvesting, sawmill operations, and other recreations.
In addition to the demonstrations, there will be an antique car show, a vendor fair, a tractor pull, a horse pull, live music by Larry Holly, and more!
Great food will also be available. Breakfast will be served each morning, and snacks will be available all day.
On Saturday, there will be a Lasagna Dinner, and starting at noon on Sunday, a Chicken BBQ will be served while supplies last.
