POTSDAM — “Mamma Mia” will hit the stage at Potsdam Central School March 10-11.
Shows will take place at 1 and 7 p.m. each day in the high school auditorium, 29 Leroy St.
“This is a show you don’t want to miss,” said Musical Theater Director Natalie Reed. “The energy these students put on stage is amazing and they have been working hard since December.”
This year the lead of Donna will be played be Halle Varney, Sophie will be played by Maggie Akin, Rosie will be played by Viola Partridge, Tanya will be played by Clare Sullivan-Catlin, Sky will be played by Theodore Hughes, Sam will be played by Evan Wolfe-Kedar, Bill will be played by Anthony Jimenez, Harry will be played by Andrew Hinman, Ali will be played by Mikenna Huntley, Lisa will be played by Ryleigh Johnson, Pepper will be played by Chiara Frascatore and Eddie will be played by Miles Attemann.
Seniors involved include Halle Varney, Maggie Akin, Clare Sullivan-Catlin, Evan Wolfe-Kedar, Anthony Jimenez, Andrew Hinman, Lauryn Bigwarfe (Stage manager/Costume Designer), Alden DiMarco (Aux. Percussion/Set Design).
“I am so proud of each of them for the work they have put into this show,” Reed said. “Rehearsals are long but the laughs we have on and off stage are so frequent that it makes time fly by so fast.”
This show does border on the line of PG-13 rating because of some language and themes in the show.
