CANTON — BOCES students from St. Lawrence County competed recently in the SkillsUSA competition in Syracuse.
Software Development and Business Design students Shaiden Bernard, a junior at Norwood-Norfolk Central School District and Tobi Morin, a junior at Potsdam Central School District were state champions, winning first place in the Website Design contest.
Earning second place was Christian Hall who competed in Prepared Speech, a category he self-advocated to participate in as a junior at Seaway Career & Technical Education Center. Hall is a student at Massena Central School District.
Also earning a medal from Seaway Career & Technical Education Center is third place finisher in the Information Technology Services competition, Ethan Blais. He is a junior at Massena Central School District enrolled in the Software Development and Business Design program.
