Brockport teen arrested in fatal hit-and-run incident in Orleans County

A Brockport teen suspected of being involved in a fatal hit-and-run incident late Thursday afternoon in the Town of Barre was arrested, according to the New York State Police.

Noah L. Magee, 19, has been charged with first-degree reckless endangerment and leaving the scene of a fatal motor vehicle accident, both felonies, as well as other vehicle and traffic infractions.

Magee was allegedly driving on the shoulder of the wrong lane of travel on McNamer Road in Orleans County when his Chevrolet Silverado hit a dirt bike being driven by 24-year-old Roger A. Kingdollar of Holley.

Kingdollar was pronounced dead at the scene, and Magee, who initially fled, returned to the scene without his pickup truck when troopers detained him, state police said. Magee was then transported to the Orleans County Jail for arraignment.

State police out of Albion said they were called to the scene of the head-on crash around 4 p.m. Two uninvolved four-wheelers were traveling with Kingdollar, state police said.

The investigation remains ongoing.
