A schedule for Ash Wednesday distribution of ashes at six churches in and around downtown Buffalo has been announced by the Downtown Family of Catholic Parishes.
Ashes will be distributed during Masses at 6:45 a.m. in St. Michael Church, 651 Washington St.; 8 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Church, 1029 Delaware Ave. ; 12:05 p.m. in St. Louis Church, Main and Edward streets; 12:10 p.m. in St. Joseph Cathedral, 50 Franklin St.; and at 6 p.m. during a Latin Mass in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 160 Court St.
Ash distribution only will be available at 5:15 p.m. in St. Michael Church and at 7 p.m. in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 115 O’Connell Ave.
