Fall bulk trash pickup in Buffalo will begin on the week of July 28 in the Ellicott District and continue in other districts through the week of Sept. 29, Mayor Byron W. Brown has announced.
Brown advised residents to put trash at the curb on Sunday of their collection week. Pick-ups will be made Monday through Saturday, not necessarily on their scheduled garbage day, he noted.
Bulk trash piles must be no more than 12 feet long, 3 feet wide and 3 feet high.
Banned are electronic items, such as TV monitors and computers, construction debris and tires. Tire drop-off days at the Broadway Garage, 197 Broadway, will be held July 13 and Sept. 14, with a limit of four tires per household.
Bulk trash will be picked up in these weeks: Fillmore District, Aug. 4; Niagara District, Aug. 11; Masten District, Aug. 18; Lovejoy District, Aug. 25; South District, Sept. 8; Delaware District, Sept. 15; North District, Sept. 22; and University District, Sept. 29.
