Former elementary school teacher pleads guilty to child porn charges

A former elementary school teacher in Springville pleaded guilty in federal court to receipt of child pornography.

Frank E. Noeson III, 46, of Holland, faces a penalty of five to 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.

When he was a fifth-grade teacher, Noeson engaged in sexual communications with a female minor using Snapchat and persuaded the 16-year-old victim to create sexually explicit images and videos and send them to him, according to Assistant U.S. Attorney Aaron J. Mango, who is handling the case.

He is also accused of engaging in sexual communications with another minor female victim, who was 15 years-old, using Snapchat, and that victim sent numerous images and videos of child pornography, Mango said.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation Buffalo Office Child Exploitation Human Trafficking Task Force led the investigation of this case.

Sentencing will be scheduled at a later date.
