Powerball ticket worth $200,000 sold at convenience store in Southtowns

A third-prize winning Powerplay ticket for Wednesday’s Powerball drawing was sold at a convenience store in the Southtowns, New York Lottery officials reported.

The ticket, worth $200,000, was purchased at the 7-Eleven store at 4931 Lake Shore Road, Wanakah.

Third-prize winners match the Powerball number plus four other numbers. The winning numbers were 1, 5, 32, 50 and 64, with a Powerball number of 8.

Powerball numbers are drawn from a field of 1 to 26. The other numbers are chosen from a list of 1 to 69. Drawings are held Monday, Wednesday and Saturday evenings.
