The Roycrofters-At-Large Association will resurrect its Little Journeys artist speaker series on Feb. 1 with a lecture called “Vagabondage and Secession, A Little Journey with Carl Sadakichi Hartmann” by Peter Potter, president of the association.
The evening will begin at 5 p.m. with a happy hour in the lounge of the Roycroft Inn, 40 S. Grove St., East Aurora, before the main event in the inn’s Morris Room.ย
For years, this series was an important part of the presence of the association at the Roycroft Inn. The series offered โshow and tellโ by masters and artisans, as well as artisan forums, and nationally known speakers.ย
The Roycrofters-At-Large Association was founded in 1976 with the mission to keep the Arts & Crafts Movement alive guided by principles set forth by founder Elbert Hubbard. The induction of new members will be held in April.
Information on the Roycrofters-At-Large events and membership options can be found online at www.ralaweb.com. Those who are interested may also follow the Roycrofters-At Large Associationโs social media pages at Facebook and Instagram, @roycroftartisans, for updates and information.
