Three people have been charged in connection with property damage at the former Radison Hotel site in Grand Island.
Jace Mitchell, 20, of Niagara Falls, Faith Schriber, 21, of the City of Tonawanda, and Jeremiah Zuch, 20, of North Tonawanda were charged with third-degree criminal trespass and third-degree criminal mischief.
The three were reportedly involved in damaging items on the property, including throwing a table down the stairs inside the former hotel, and damaging a minivan parked in the area, according to the Erie County Sheriff’s Office.
On Sunday, a witness advised the Sheriffโs Office that there were suspicious vehicles on the property and of the damaged table and minivan. Deputies said they confirmed what the witness described happening and noticed other damaged items on the property. An investigation helped reveal the identities of those involved, deputies said.
Mitchell, Schriber and Zuch turned themselves in Friday at the Grand Island Sheriffโs substation and were released with appearance tickets. They will appear in Grand Island Town Court on Feb. 28.
