Tops Markets is giving away free cupcakes to those with leap year birthdays from Thursday to Saturday.
Customers who bring identification showing they were born on Feb. 29 will receive four free cupcakes from the Tops bakery.
“One for your birthday this year – and one for each birthday you missed,” the company said.
The company will also give cupcakes to new leap day parents in the maternity wards at Oishei Children’s Hospital and Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital Thursday.
And Tops will give the first baby born on Leap Day Thursday $2,900 worth of free diapers, food and formula.
