Black-owned and operated retail vendors are invited to take part in Black History Month in February at the Broadway Market, Buffalo Mayor Byron W. Brown announced.
Businesses selling everything from clothes to jewelry to food will set up from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. every Saturday in February inside the market at 999 Broadway.
There also will be live music on Saturdays, featuring some of Buffalo’s best African American musicians, along with other activities.
Vendors can download an application at broadwaymarket.org or call the Broadway Market management office at 716-893-0705.
“I encourage interested retail vendors to take part in this great opportunity,” Mayor Brown said in a press release. “Black History Month at the Broadway Market is an important initiative that builds on the continued progress weโve made to create a more equitable, inclusive and just community for all city residents.”
