Buffalo River Compost, a division of Noco, is offering to dispose of Halloween pumpkins for free at 10 locations in Buffalo and Erie County from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday through Sunday.
Pumpkins, jack-o’-lanterns and gourds, even those that are decaying, will be accepted for recycling. They should not be bleached or painted. Candles and lanterns must be removed. Corn stalks and hay bales will not be accepted.
