Wildlife shows, an astronomy exhibit and a tent highlighting Tuscarora culture will be among the events featured at the New York Power Authority’s Wildlife Festival scheduled for this weekend in Lewiston.
The festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday at the Niagara Power Vista, the visitors center for the Niagara Power Project, 5777 Lewiston Road.
Other featured events will include a rock-climbing wall open from noon to 3 p.m. on both days of the festival, a cultural dance performance by the Niagara River Iroquois Dancers and an appearance by animal expert Jeff Musial and Nickel City Reptiles and Exotics.
The free family festival is a collaboration between the New York Power Authority and the Niagara County Federation of Conservation Clubs, which will provide a fishing pond, archery stand and conservation activities for the event.ย
