Women United of Greater Niagara seeking donations for personal hygiene drive

Women United of Greater Niagara is seeking donations of personal hygiene products, such as feminine hygiene products, shampoo and conditioner, deodorant, lotion, toothbrushes and toothpaste, tissues, and laundry detergent for its annual month-long drive.

Items collected this year will benefit 10 area school districts that will each be supplied to help create personal hygiene closets for their students to easily access.

Donations can be dropped off at the following locations:ย 

โ€ข United Way of Greater Niagara, 6420 Inducon Drive West, Sanborn.

โ€ข Chris Fit Personal Training, 4600 Witmer Industrial Estates, Niagara Falls.

โ€ข Salon Diaz, 4613 Military Road, Niagara Falls.

โ€ข M&T Bank, 750 Main St., Niagara Falls.

โ€ข Northwest Bank branches at 4381 Military Road, Niagara Falls; 500 Center St., Lewiston; and 55 East Ave., Lockport.

โ€ข Lockport Family YMCA, 5833 Snyder Drive, Lockport.

The drive, which continues through the end of the month, is part of Women United of Greater Niagaraโ€™s ongoing initiative to support the local community through service. Throughout 2023, group has focused on womenโ€™s health and worked to address critical issues by collecting goods for those in need and by sponsoring events throughout the county such as the upcoming Seventh Annual Boo Bash Oct. 24 at Fashion Outlets of Niagara.
