MONROE – House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries and Congressman Pat Ryan Friday announced funding for the Hudson Valley of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.
“This is a once in a generation chance to rebuild our crumbling infrastructure, remove PFAS from our water, and invest in the future of our community,” said Ryan, while at a private luncheon with local Democratic leaders in Monroe on Friday.
“The bipartisan infrastructure law is game-changing legislation that is making long-overdue investments in the Hudson Valley and across New York state,” said Jeffries.
Funded projects in Ryan’s 18th Congressional District include:
- $10M for clean bus programs at the Rondout School Valley System
- $7.9M for highway repair in Poughkeepsie
- $7.6M for road paving in Pleasant Valley
- $5.8M in infrastructure grants for Stewart Airport
- $4.4M for paving on the Taconic Parkway in Dutchess County
- $3.8M for highway repair and $3.9M for wall repairs in Highlands
- $3.2M for traffic operations in Middletown
