WASHINGTON – Two small area airports have been awarded funding through the FAA’s Airport Improvement Program.
Joseph Y Resnick Airport in Ellenville will receive just under $400,000 to rehabilitate a taxilane.
Columbia County Airport will receive two grants – $250,000 to rehabilitate an apron and $91,000 to reconstruct taxiway lighting.
They are among 13 New York airports to receive grants in this round of program funding.
The grants were announced by US Senators Charles Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand.
