VILLAGE OF LIBERTY – It was a night of violence in the Village of Liberty Saturday.
Bloody footsteps were observed outside apartment one at 155 South Main Street after a 7 p.m. stabbing. The victim was reportedly stabbed several times and suffered heavy blood loss. He was unconscious, unresponsive and transported to Garnet Health Medical Center Harris, according to reports.
Just five minutes later, another person was stabbed at 46 Chestnut Street. His condition was unknown.
About four hours later, paramedics were called to Liberty Police headquarters in Main Street for a man who sustained facial injuries after an assault.
The weekend violence occurred just four weeks after three people were stabbed outside a party room on School Street, and on May 10, there was a stabbing on the Main Street stage in the park.
